Once a year every Christmas the Social Justice Advocates (Samaritans) operate an Op-shop for 6 weeks from the Pambula Masonic Centre. The previous year is spent collecting other people's unwanted items storing and repairing them and at the end of the year, selling them at Pambula. The significant amount of funds raised is used for local charitable activities. The Pambula Masonic Centre provides a great venue for the Op-shop as can be seen from the pictures below. John Liston and Mick Brosnan and their wives do the collecting and selling among many other charitable deeds they manage to squeexe into their busy lives. They are wearing blue shirts in the pics.
