Lodge Bega Remembrance held their annual Xmas party on Sunday, 18th December, at the Tathra family home of the Senior Warden, David Porter and his Father Laurie, 3rd from right, who is in his 90's. A change of venue from the Kianinny Boat Ramp picnic ground was a great idea as the porter home was completely free of flies, which can't be said for the boat ramp site.

David's wife Eva must have spent most of the previous night cooking as there were numerous Philippino traditional dishes for consumption which is exactly what happened to them. It is interesting to note that the numbers attending these annual Xmas parties is increasing each year, an indication that the Lodge is in good shape and growing.

The Lodge meets at the Bega Masonic Centre of the third Wednesday except December and January, The meetings are preceded at 5.30pm by the festive board and  the meeting starts at 6.30pm. Installations are held in September on the 3rd Saturday.

Visiting Masons are always welcome.
